The Enterprise Pattern System
Lead visual design, branding, and internal communication efforts for the creation of a product system for internal products at the world’s largest social media company.
Was responsible for brand guidelines, product guidelines, internal marketing videos and other graphics for communication. Worked hand in hand with product designers, managers, and senior leadership.
Video created to celebrate the launch of the 20th pattern for the product system. Used for general communication and by product designers to highlight all their work.
Video released in support of the creation of the product system. Used to sell the idea of a product system to senior leadership and to other product designers working on Enterprise Products.
Also created graphics to help explain what patterns were to the larger org and videos to capture attention in the overcrowded Workplace feed.
Product System Guidelines
Was responsible for writing guidelines for product designers to use to correctly use the new product system as well as writing a Playbook, serving as the source of truth regarding the product system. These resources are house everything related to the pattern library, how the team identifies, builds, and validates patterns, and adoption strategies for new and existing products.
